Played for six organizations during his professional playing career, primarily spent in the minors with Toronto (2002-08), Pittsburgh (2008-09), Detroit (2010), Texas (2011-12), LA of Anaheim (2012) and Milwaukee (2013-15)... Appeared in 44 games in the Major Leagues with Toronto (2008) and Pittsburgh (2008-09), batting .281 with 1 HR and 20 RBI... Was the player to be named to complete the 8/21/08 trade that sent future All-Star outfielder José Bautista from Pittsburgh to Toronto... Was an Eastern League All-Star in 2007 and that same season started at catcher for the World Team in the All-Star Futures Game... Played his final professional season in the Mexican League in 2016 with Tabasco (34g, .278, 2hr, 16rbi).
