Edmonds day-to-day with oblique strain
CINCINNATI -- Brewers outfielder Jim Edmonds, who left Saturday's game with a left oblique strain, is listed as day-to-day and was available only to pinch-run in Monday night's series opener in Cincinnati.
"It'd be running, if anything," said Brewers manager Ken Macha. "Nothing rotating."
Edmonds suffered the injury on a check-swing in the second inning of Saturday's game.
The 39-year-old veteran is batting .280 with three home runs and eight RBIs in 27 games, including 22 starts.
