ANAHEIM -- The Brewers announced three more signings from last week's First-Year Player Draft on Tuesday, at least one of which was previously reported elsewhere. The team typically announces signings in bunches. Officially under contract are Auburn University first baseman Hunter Morris (fourth round), Louisiana State right-hander Cody Ross (eighth round) and Puerto Rican prep shortstop Yadiel Rivera (ninth round). Morris was assigned to Class A Wisconsin, Ross to rookie Helena and Rivera to rookie Arizona. With those players locked up, the Brewers have signed six of their first nine picks in the Draft. They are still working on first-rounder Dylan Covey, who met the team in Anaheim on Monday, second-rounder Jimmy Nelson, whose University of Alabama club was eliminated Monday by Clemson in the NCAA Super Regional, and seventh-rounder Joel Pierce, a high school right-hander from Windsor, Ontario.
