Braun's hitting streak comes to an end
DENVER -- Ryan Braun's hitting streak ended at 23 games on Friday, as he went 0-for-3 in the Brewer's 4-0 loss to the Rockies.

Braun, whose hitting streak was the third-longest in team history, was on deck when Rockies closer Huston Street struck out Nyjer Morgan to end the game.

Bruan struck out on a foul tip in the first inning, grounded into a fielder's choice in the fourth and grounded into a double play in the seventh.

The Milwaukee outfielder's hitless night also broke a string of 24 straight games with a hit against the Rockies, the longest such streak against Colorado in the franchise's 19-year history.
