Brewers at the plate:
Gabe Gross hit a tie-breaking home run with one out in the 10th inning. Tony Gwynn, who has not hit a homer in 200 Major League at-bats, hit a two-run blast in the fourth, and Mike Cameron led off the fifth with his first spring home run. J.J. Hardy hit an RBI single in the seventh.
Cubs at the plate:
Kosuke Fukudome, batting second for the first time this spring, went 3-for-3, including a solo homer with one out in the third and an RBI single in the fourth. Rookie catcher Geovany Soto hit a two-run double.
Brewers on the mound:
Claudio Vargas gave up three runs on five hits and two walks over three innings in his second spring start. Chris Narveson gave up one run on three hits and three walks in three innings while striking out four.
Cubs on the mound:
Ryan Dempster, trying to win a spot in the rotation after spending three seasons as the closer, gave up one run on two hits and two walks over three innings in his second spring start. Kerry Wood, one of the candidates for the closer job, had a 1-2-3 inning in the sixth.

Brewers 3-3; Cubs 2-4.
The Brewers travel to Surprise, Ariz., on Wednesday to face the Rangers. Dave Bush and Manny Parra are slated to pitch for Milwaukee. Prince Fielder did not play on Tuesday, and he is expected to be in the lineup.
The Cubs make their first trip to Tucson, Ariz., on Wednesday to face the Diamondbacks in the first meeting since Arizona swept them in the National League Division Series. Carlos Zambrano, who started Game 1 of the NLDS, is scheduled to make his second spring start for the Cubs.
