McGehee ejected for arguing called strike
ST. LOUIS -- Brewers third baseman Casey McGehee was ejected Wednesday after objecting to a Strike 3 call from plate umpire D.J. Reyburn.

McGehee's first ejection of the season came in the fourth inning and capped a tough road trip. He fouled a pitch off his left calf in Tuesday's loss, then went 0-for-2 Wednesday to finish a 2-for-14 trip to Houston and St. Louis.

The Chris Carpenter pitch that so upset McGehee was off the outside part of the plate, according to the Fox Sports' technology that tracks pitches, but was closer on MLB.com's Gameday application. McGehee, who had been rung up on a nearly identical pitch in the second inning, turned to say something to Reyburn and immediately was ejected.

The Brewers' only other ejections this season were drawn by left fielder Ryan Braun, who was tossed twice, and manager Ron Roenicke.
