PHOENIX -- The Brewers used four well-placed singles, a sacrifice bunt a sacrifice fly and a run-scoring error to score five times in the sixth inning on Sunday, then held on for a 7-5 win over the Rockies at Maryvale Baseball Park.

All of that damage came against Rockies reliever Matt Belisle, who inherited a 2-2 tie and found trouble when Alex Gonzalez and Rene Tosoni led off the bottom of the sixth inning with singles. Pinch-runner Lance Roenicke took over for Gonzalez and scored on an error by Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who was charged with another error later in the inning that was reviewed and changed to a hit.

Minor Leaguers Nick Shaw, Ben McMahan and Stephen Parker logged RBIs as the Brewers built a 7-2 lead after six innings, by which time many of the regulars had called it a day.

These teams will meet again on April 1 at Miller Park for Opening Day.

"We're ready to go," said left fielder Ryan Braun, whose RBI double in the third inning tied the game, 2-2. "I've said it for years, Spring Training is too long. Once you've been here for a certain amount of time, there's a boredom that comes with being here too long."

Rockies starter Juan Nicasio allowed two Brewers runs on seven hits in five innings, with two walks and four strikeouts. He was working with a 2-0 lead after his own RBI single in the second inning.

That hit came against Brewers starter Mark Rogers, who lasted through the third and surrendered two runs on two hits and two walks with two strikeouts.

Up next: Left-hander Chris Narveson will be on the mound for his penultimate exhibition start on Monday, when the Brewers travel across town to Phoenix Municipal Stadium for a 3:05 p.m. CT game against the A's. Bartolo Colon gets the start for Oakland in a game to be broadcast on the Brewers Radio Network with Bob Uecker and Joe Block.
