Miller Park homestand highlights: May 20-28

MILWAUKEE, WI - The Milwaukee Brewers begin an eight-game, nine-day homestand on Monday as they welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers to Miller Park for a three-game series, followed by three games against the Pittsburgh Pirates and a two-game interleague matchup against the Minnesota Twins. Spring Madness gets underway on Monday and continues through the final game of the series with the Dodgers on Wednesday. Fans can save 50% on all tickets $34 and less, plus small Pepsi products and Klement's hot dogs are just $1 each. These seats include: Loge Outfield, Terrace Box, Terrace Reserved, Loge Bleachers, Field Bleachers and Bernie's Terrace. Community Achievers presented by Allstate: Community Achievers presented by Allstate, recognizes residents throughout the state of Wisconsin each month during the season for displaying extraordinary efforts in their community. All adults and school-aged children throughout the state of Wisconsin are eligible to participate in the Community Achievers Award program. This month's honoree is Daniel Buttery. Daniel served in the U.S. Army and was the commander of a combat engineer company. Daniel will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Monday's game.

Tuesday, May 21 vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 7:10 p.m.

RBI Athlete of the Month: The RBI program is a MLB youth baseball initiative and partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs. The program was developed by former scout and Major Leaguer John Young in Los Angeles in 1989 to provide youth ages 9 to 17 the opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of baseball. Each month, the Milwaukee Brewers honor RBI student athletes on the diamond that portray dedication to academics, community involvement, leadership, reliability and monthly performance. This month's honoree is Miguel Bias.

Beyond the Diamond: Beyond the Diamond is a series of community outreach events that will take place during the season, from May through August, which involves partnering with Brewers Community Foundation, players, coaches, Brewers Wives, alumni and team personnel, working hands on in the community. On May 21, the Brewers will host their annual S.C.O.R.E. for Excellence Day presented by Gordon Flesch. Yovani Gallardo, Carlos Gomez, Yuniesky Betancourt, Wily Peralta and Alfredo Figaro will visit Vieau School to emphasize the importance of education. T-shirts and game tickets will be provided, along with a $2,500 donation from Brewers Community Foundation toward academic programs.  

Wednesday, May 22 vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 12:10 p.m.

Brewers Wives Dinner Delivery: Brewers Wives will deliver and serve dinner to the women and children at Sojourner Family Peace Center, a safe haven for battered women and children. The meal will be donated by Maggiano's Little Italy. The Wives will also provide the children with Brewers memorabilia.

Saturday, May 25 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 3:10 p.m.

▪ Brewers Sponsor Coupon Book: The first 25,000 fans 18 and over will receive a Brewers Sponsor Coupon Book, featuring special offerings from Brewers corporate partners and an exclusive 2-for-1 Brewers ticket offer.

▪ Autograph Saturdays for Kids presented by U.S. Bank: Prior to Saturday's game, from 1:45pm to 2:05pm, various Brewers players and coaches will autograph photo cards for kids 14 and under. Subject to change. Compliments of U.S. Bank.

▪ Brewed for Her: The Brewers will host a "Brewed for Her" event during the Brewers vs. Pirates game inside the Gehl Club at Miller Park. "Brewed for Her" will showcase multiple products that are sold in the Brewers Team stores, along with fashion tips and interactive beauty stations. For a limited time, tickets are available at a special price of two for $115 (additional tickets are available for $57.50 each). Sunday, May 26 vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 1:10 p.m.

▪ Ryan Braun Bobblehead sponsored by the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board: All fans in attendance will receive a Ryan Braun Bobblehead sponsored by the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board. The bobblehead honors Braun's 2012 season in which he became just the ninth player in Major League history to hit at least 40 home runs and steal at least 30 bases in a single season. He hit 41 homers and swiped 30 bases. Braun was the first player to reach this feat since Alfonso Soriano hit 46 homers and stole 41 bases in 2006 for the Washington Nationals. Dairy Day will also occur on the Miller Park Plaza before the game with various dairy companies providing free dairy samples.

▪ Blue Bunny Ice Cream Sunday: The first 2,000 fans 12 and under will receive a voucher redeemable for a free Blue Bunny Ice Cream treat upon entering Miller Park.

Honorary Bat Girl:  Major League Baseball and the Brewers are teaming up with Stand Up to Cancer and Susan G. Komen for the Cure to raise awareness and support for the fight against breast cancer. MLB will celebrate the stories of fans who are "Going To Bat Against Breast Cancer" in their daily lives. Susan Meunier was selected as the Milwaukee Brewers winner of the Mother's Day Honorary Bat Girl Contest. She will participate in the ceremonial first pitch. 

Tuesday, May 27 vs. Minnesota Twins, 7:10 p.m.
