Brewers announce 2014 telecast schedule
FOX Sports Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Brewers today announced a 150-game television schedule for the 2014 season. FOX Sports Wisconsin will serve as the exclusive local television home for the Milwaukee Brewers. Select Brewers games also will be televised nationally on FOX Sports and FOX Sports 1. See attached schedule for details.
FOX Sports Wisconsin's regular season coverage begins Monday, March 31, with the Brewers' home opener against Atlanta - the first of seven televised games against the Braves.
Other highlights from the 2014 schedule include: eighteen games against the division rival Chicago Cubs, a pair of home-and-home series with the Minnesota Twins scheduled for June 2-5, and three games against the defending World Series champion Boston Red Sox.
Brian Anderson will continue to serve as the primary play-by-play announcer with newcomer Matt Lepay joining analyst Bill Schroeder in the broadcast booth for select telecasts. Craig Coshun also will serve as play-by-play announcer for select telecasts late in the season while continuing his role as the main host for Brewers Live pre and postgame shows. Brewers Live airs before and after Brewers telecasts with Jeff Grayson, Telly Hughes and Sophia Minnaert reporting as well as analysis from former first base coach Davey Nelson and former Brewer Jerry Augustine.
FOX Sports Wisconsin also will televise a total of fourteen Brewers home spring training games in 2014. For the complete schedule, click here.
