MILWAUKEE, WI - The Milwaukee Brewers return to Miller Park on Monday to begin a nine-game, 11-day homestand, beginning with a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Following an off day on Thursday, the New York Yankees visit Miller Park for the first time since the 2005 season. The team has another off day after the weekend series against the Yankees and the homestand continues on Tuesday, May 13 with the start of a three-game series vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Limited seating only (obstructed view and Standing Room Only) is available for the Saturday and Sunday games against the Yankees.
"Spring Madness (414)" will take place during the Pittsburgh series from Tuesday, May 13 through Thursday, May 15. Fans can save 50% on select tickets throughout the series. Shatterproof Day - Shatterproof - a national organization that is committed to protecting children from developing addiction to alcohol or other drugs and ending the stigma and suffering of those affected by this disease - will host the "Shatterproof Challenge" in downtown Milwaukee on Tuesday. Approximately 80 participants will rappel down the side of the Hyatt Regency hotel. Brewers outfielder Logan Schafer will make a special appearance. At Miller Park, the Brewers will celebrate "Shatterproof Day" and Brewers Community Foundation will present a grant to the organization. Shatterproof staff will be at Miller Park distributing literature to raise awareness for the cause, and Shatterproof President Gary Mendell will toss the ceremonial first pitch. University of Wisconsin Men's Basketball Team Honored - The University of Wisconsin men's basketball team will be honored on the field prior to the Brewers/Yankees game. Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan will lead the program's players and staff on the field for pregame recognition and a ceremonial first pitch. The on-field recognition will begin at approximately 6:50 p.m.
