Roenicke's string of successful challenges ends

MILWAUKEE -- Manager Ron Roenicke endured a rare losing challenge during Monday's game against the Reds at Miller Park.

In the sixth inning, Cincinnati's Skip Schumaker doubled to left field, sliding safely, according to second-base umpire Chris Segal, ahead of Logan Schafer's throw. Upon replay, the ruling on the field stood.

That snapped Roenicke's streak of successful challenges at five. Overall, the Brewers are 10-6 in challenges this season.
