"We are hopeful that the bobbleheads will arrive in time, but we wanted to communicate in advance the issues with the transportation so that fans are prepared when they arrive at the game [on Sunday]," Brewers chief operating officer Rick Schlesinger said in a statement. "We appreciate everyone's patience and apologize on behalf of the transportation personnel who are bringing the bobbleheads to Milwaukee."
If the bobbleheads do not arrive in time to be given out on Sunday, fans will need to hold onto their ticket stub to pick up the bobbleheads at a later date. If that is the case, specific details will be announced Sunday.
