MILWAUKEE - For the third consecutive year, the Brewers will be hosting a "Social Media Night" at Miller Park. This season, the event will have a new format as it will revolve around the Twitter platform, with fans having the opportunity to elect their favorite Brewers player on Twitter as the "2014 #BrewersMVT" (Most Valuable Tweeter). The player with the most votes will make an exclusive appearance at the event.
A special $25 ticket package will be available for the game on Monday, September 8 against the Miami Marlins. The package includes a Loge Level ticket, access to a pregame "Tweet-Up" event at Helfaer Field featuring an appearance by the #BrewersMVT, an exclusive Brewers Twitter t-shirt designed with input from the winning player, and the opportunity to win prizes.
Tickets are on sale now at brewers.com/socialmedianight. For group outings of 25 or more, tickets may be purchased by calling 414- 902-4523. Packages are limited, so fans are fans are encouraged to act quickly.
From now through Sunday, August 24, fans can vote for their favorite follow on Twitter using designated hashtags. The player with the most votes will be selected as the #BrewersMVT (Most Valuable Tweeter), appear at the pre-game "Tweet Up" with fans, and help design the special Twitter t-shirt that fans purchasing the package will receive on September 8.
